Business sellers listing products for EU or Northern Ireland buyers.
What do we know?
Check manufacturer contacts, any required EU Responsible Person, product identification and relevant safety information. CE markings apply only where the relevant product law requires them.
Timing
GPSR applicable since 13 December 2024. Older products require a separate transition check.
Are my existing arrangements enough?
No individual listing or mandate has been checked. Older listings or used products are not automatically exempt. No universal ten-day period, testing/DoC demand or automatic deletion is established.
What can I do now?
Check product scope, market-entry evidence, listing notice and the existing Responsible Person mandate before purchasing another service.
