Does this affect my business?
Amazon.com sellers: identify which category, sales-threshold and purchasing-channel conditions apply.
What do we know?
From 2 November 2026, enhanced-safety categories need at least USD 1 million cover regardless of sales. Sellers based in Mainland China must obtain cover through Amazon Insurance Accelerator (AIA). The existing rule requires insurance within 30 days when Amazon.com proceeds exceed USD 10,000 in any month.
Timing
2 November 2026. Compliant third-party policies submitted before then may continue until expiry.
Are my existing arrangements enough?
Your category and policy have not been individually checked. Product-testing requirements are separate.
What can I do now?
Ask your broker to check product coverage, limits and additional-insured wording. Arrange any needed change before the applicable deadline.
