Amazon UK business orders: check the right delivery metric

The business-hour delivery requirement concerns deliveries to business buyers, not a blanket closure of all FBM offers.

Source checked:

Timing: Requirement from 30 September; possible business-customer listing action from 30 October 2026.

Does this affect my business?

Amazon.co.uk FBM sellers receiving Amazon Business customer orders.

What do we know?

Check the metric’s audience. Amazon’s business-hour delivery rate measures FBM shipments reaching Amazon Business buyers during their operating hours. Its announced threshold is at least 90%. This differs from treating all consumer deliveries as subject to the same business-hour metric.

Read the announced consequence precisely. The notice says non-compliant listings may be deactivated for business customers from 30 October if performance remains below the requirement. The linked policy describes persistent performance below 80% without improvement within 30 days of a warning, and exempts sellers with fewer than 20 shipped units in the measurement period. Consumer-store offers are unaffected.

Review settings and the actual order evidence. Amazon recommends reliable couriers and accurate handling/transit times. It describes an exclusion for orders using Automated Handling Time, Shipping Settings Automation and Amazon Buy Shipping together. Check eligibility in the linked FAQ rather than assuming that turning on any one tool is sufficient.

Start with these checks. You may already have what you need.
